I would like you to know that I am running for County Clerk out of a sincere desire to better serve the citizens of Oklahoma County.

My experience as one of your County Commissioners has taught me many things about county government.  One in particular is that in many ways, the County Clerk's office is the most important office in county government.  The Clerk serves as the chief information officer to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and several other boards and committees, such as the Budget Board.  Without timely and accurate information provided by the Clerk, the various boards cannot make proper decisions.  This is why I am running.  I believe that I can do a better job serving the citizens of Oklahoma County than what they are currently receiving.  My goal is to bring honesty and integrity to the office of County Clerk, with a sense of fair play that I feel is absent today.   

I am also a firm believer in term limits for all public officials. I pledge to serve no more than two terms as your next County Clerk.

This will take a huge effort by everyone involved.  On the right, you can see there is a place to contribute to my campaign.  If you believe as I do; Oklahoma County needs a new County Clerk, any contribution is sincerely welcome.  I will spend your contribution sensably and conservatively.
